I started taking boxing classes in the spring of 2005 from the fabulous Yvette.
It was a wicked workout and I met some great friends (though none of us box together anymore, we still meet every couple of months for supper).
I've changed gyms a couple times. Though my gym doesn't offer boxing classes, it does have a boxing bag.
I've been looking for a boxing workout I can download onto my ipod. I finally found three last night on iTrain.
I got ambitious and did them all tonight.
That's a total of 60 minutes of pounding the bag and 20 minutes of abs and cooldown. Then I did 15 minutes on the stationary bike ("around the world hills" mode).
I definitely feel like I had a workout!
And my eating was on track today. Yay!

No love letters at all? As in, you didn't write them, or you didn't keep them?
I'm curious.....!
Great MM, thanks! I liked this post too, I've been thinking of trying kickboxing, but ....ahem....have no idea how to go about it. Maybe I will one day! I just go an ipod though, I'm going to look out for the downloads.
happy Monday :)

Hi Teena... Thanks for commenting on my blog!
I'm jealous of your workout. It's so hot here (41 celsius today) that all I want to do is sleep in a cool puddle of water (ie the ocean).
Looks like a good workout. Keep up the good work!
I had a chocolate chip cookie and a can of diet coke for breakfast. I know...I'm bad. :o(
Congrats on Rocking the Day. Keep up the good work.
Good for you! I have got my eating under control but I haven't gotten working out again yet.
