Round Robin Challenge

Did you play?

The challenge this time ... freaks of nature. Gord found this potato about four years ago in a bag of potatoes we'd bought and gave it to me because it looks like a heart. I've kept it in the freezer since.

That is quite possibly the sweetest thing I've ever heard/seen :-)

It took me a few moments to establish that was your freezer door shelf. At first I saw tub and thought 'how the hell could someone accidentally package that large of a heart shaped potato in a bag? LOL

Like Trish, I thought for a moment that was a bathtub. That would make the potato, what, about two feet across? That truly would be extra freaky!

Awwww, a real sweet potato! I too thought it was a bathtub and then spent a second thinking you've got a mighty big fridge!

Cool, a heart-shaped potato! Nothin' like spud lovin' to brighten up a day, eh?

That is amazing that is was Heart shaped to begin with but to also retain that shape in the freezer after 4 years---That is a Miracle Potato, for sure!

For the potato to be in such good shape after so long in the freezer amazes me, too. I guess that's because it was such a sweet gift, it's going to last forever. :-)

Wow!
This is cool.
Putting stuff in the freezer reminds me of when my Son Cameron (who is 19 now) asked me to save a fish bite he got at a restaurant because it was shaped like a giraffe. I had it in the freezer for almost 15 yrs, then we HAD to throw it out.

Happy International Webloggers Day!

I gotta love a guy that even notices a potato shape, let alone gives it to his wife.
My ex-husband would only have noticed if it was a Jean Claude Van Dam potato or perhaps an explosive device of some sort.
No that's not true; he never would have been handling potatos in the first place.
